Republicans and Democrats alike respect his honesty. Cheney declared that his position in the Bush administration is to be an honest but quiet adviser. Cheney was the first to accept the Republican Vice Presidential election in 2007, said his hopes were high for being under a President who is able to work across party lines and work with political rivals through goodwill and a shared objective. Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on the 30th of January, 1941 at Lincoln Nebraska. As a 13-year-old, Richard Bruce moved with his parents to Casper (in Wyoming, the State of Wyoming) where his father was Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's soil conservation district.
