The Pioneer Woman was born at Bartlesville Oklahoma, she attended college to study journalism and gerontology. Many important publications have praised the blog for its success and lauded her writing style, her innovative ideas and excellent photography. She posts food photos in her blogs. In 2011 she started her own television show called The Pioneer Woman which is currently telecast in the US on The Food Network. She also writes books with the majority of them include recipes for cooking. She recently made it public that her book from Black Heels to Tractor Wheels will soon be turned into a film by Columbia Pictures.
